I have a friend at work that suffers from ADHD and this book has a chapter on the workplace so I figured it would help me help her, and it did. It offers several tips and suggestions to help manage the disability and live a happier life.The tip about the "do not disturb sign" would make a great gift idea for the gal at work. It's a handy guide that is easy to read, the information was right to the point and it even mentioned some web sites for additional resources.

This book was exactly what I was looking for! I read it in one day, because I had a challenge to focus on certain things lately. A friend of mine has adult adhd, so I wanted to know if thats the case for me as well. This guide explains the symptoms of adult adhd very well, so that you get a clue if you have it or not. Furthermore the author provides valuable advice on how to deal with adult adhd. What I liked most were the little summaries at the end of each chapter.

The book provides a good understanding of ADHD. My mother is suffering from the issue since last 1 year and it encouraged me to purchase this book. It’s a very nice guide to ADHD and it tells how to manage it effectively. It’s highly recommended from my side.

Nice large print and to the point. I got this book for my boyfriend to help me understand him and his plight with ADHD. I thought it was well put together for a person with differculties maintaining focus. He has been reading it also.

Wow. Very informative book. Sometimes we forget that ADHD is no only a child's problem. Millions of adults have it but we tend to associate it more with Children. The books gives some signs on what to look for to see if an Adult has it. It gives you ways to find out if you do have, and suggestions to live with and move beyond it. Very detailed book.

This is just a brief superficial repeat of the most elementary basics. Any free Google website would give the same information and more for free.

This book gives good advice on tactics to cope with ADHD. If you are unfamiliar this book is a good primer.
