I'm a private clarinet instructor with a large studio of students. This book is so popular with my clarinetists that I use it weekly. It has a good range of difficulty and is great for teaching rhythm because students recognize the songs and are inspired to play the music correctly. It's good for students who have played between 6 months to about three years, or adult clarinetists just wanting to have fun. Highly recommend.
I started replaying the clarinet after years. I only played in middle school, so I was not very advanced. Some of the songs are playable, while others are difficult! But I love these songs in this book because once I started playing them, they were recognizable and reminded me of my Disney-loving childhood. Great book for all levels of clarinet players! Some songs are easy, while others are really difficult (for me, anyway!)
Great book, however I am very disappointed that this book is not written in B flat. It is instead written for C instruments. This book is the exact same thing as my cello book, with the exception of the clef you are playing in. I was hoping to be able to play duets with my wife, but we cannot do that now, unless we transpose the music.
It is a very good book. The music works perfectly for a B flat clarinet, and it came in four days. In some books, the music does not sound right, and you have to figure it out yourself, but in this book, it is not the case. I would recommend this to people who know how to play the following notes because they come up a lot. B flat (high and low), c sharp (high and low), and f sharp (high and low). If you know these this book is absolutely perfect.
Great, thorough book of all the fun Disney syandards I know from childhood. NOTE: This is not the right purchase for someone seeking challenging, technical music. It is all very easy rhythm and key-wise for anyone who's been playing for a bit, so it's best use is fun leisurely playing! Thanks!
As a Disney fan, this song book is amazing. Some of the notes are challenging, but they come out great on my clarinet. Hours of enjoyment playing, and my family also enjoys the music.
My daughter is expanding her knowledge and skill acquired through band using this book.
Good collection of songs. Haven't touched my clarinet in 15 years and was able to play most of the songs and be recognizable.
